Our Story
Rustico Surf Club is a small Canadian retailer featuring boards and quality screen-printed apparel in the heart of Rustico, Prince Edward Island. Founded in 2022 by a group of local surfers who aspire to create positive vibes, support the local surf community, and celebrate the unique surf culture here on the North Shore of PEI.
Katherine and Andrew MacLaine live across the Harbour with their family and own and operate the business. They have surfed the salty seas of PEI together for over 15 years. Their shared passion for the sport inspires their custom apparel and love exploring the coast with friends and family in every season.
All the artwork is designed in-house with garments sourced directly from Canadian suppliers, keeping quality and comfort in mind. The screen-printing production takes place within Canada to help support small businesses. Rustico Surf Club carefully selects garments that support fair trade practices and are ethically assembled. They are committed to constantly educating themselves on the impact and growth in this area, not only as local Entrepreneurs, but as global consumers.
For Rustico Surf Club, the ocean is the foundation of everything. Flat or firing, sun-warm or frosty, they're all in! That's why they are members of 1% for the Planet, targeting a portion of every sale to the Island Nature Trust, a local non-profit, which works to protect PEI's natural areas. Join the club!
